Location lighting.
Here are some shots of the locations for the film. The exposures are using natural light from street lighting. Some back lighting for smaller puppets may be used. We are over exposing the images to get a bright daylight look to the film, despite being filmed at night. When shot like this suddenly the whole CBD is a studio, lit just for us. Challenges in this location include drunk people, rubbish and stinky real world smells. Considerable work has gone into getting approval to film here.
